Lanctot's Lament

This area is reserved for the owner of Lakelse Consulting Services to rant. I am a semi-retired 58-year-old ex-chief, First Class Inter-provincial Power Engineer with experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals and Utilities.

I used to write a one or two page newsletter back in the 1990's called LANCTOT'S LAMENT which I faxed out to as many Chief Power Engineers that I knew in the business at that time and for whom I could find a fax number. It was met with moderate success and some people (well a few, before they filed it under 13) actually looked forward to seeing it. The LAMENT was my personal opinion on where the power engineering business was going and what I thought should be done about it.

I have resurrected the LAMENT to once again express my personal opinion of the direction of Power Engineering in this country. Articles to follow:
